For the past few months I have been working on Tiffany's wedding. Now the day is almost here and I have been working on getting everything into place and ready to go. Thursday and Friday I along with family and friends have spent the day getting the reception area all prepared. The food is getting taken care of and decorations are going up. Things are really getting done nicely. Today among all the preparations we took a break to meet with the Groom's family for a luncheon in downtown San Diego. We had a nice time with our family and getting to know our soon to be son-in-laws family. Tomorrow is the big day and I hope everything will work out with out a hitch.

Valentines Weekend

On February 14th we went to my oldest Granddaughters baptism. What a wonderful time we had with Ashlyn, my other grandbabies, Anissa and Noah. Ashlyn had me give a talk on Baptism, Art and Aaron be the witnesses as she was being baptized, Art assisted as she received the Holy Ghost. We also celebrated Valentines day with them. We had a great time being around family. It was a busy weekend and way too short of a trip, but we loved being there on her special day.

Today was my granddaughters 2nd birthday! We wen to Chuck E Cheese's for her birthday. We had a great time. After pizza at Oggie's we came back home to sing happy birthday, open up presents, and eat cupcakes. It was nice to have Aubrey here on her Birthday.

Thanksgiving Week

This weekend we were busy getting ready for the arrival of my oldest daughter, her husband, and my granddaughters. On Monday they took Aaron and went to the San Diego Zoo. They had a lot of fun watching the animals and spending time with Aaron. On Tuesday Aaron, Art, and I took the two oldest granddaughters Ashlyn and Autumn to watch Madagascar 2. We just gave them popcorn and a drink and they were set to go. On Wednesday we went to lunch together and came home early to play with my three little girls. Art started a puzzle with Ashlyn and I read a book to Autumn. We all ended up working on puzzles until bed time. Thursday was Thanksgiving day. With all of our family we were able to have a wonderful Thanksgiving Feast with so much to be grateful for.

Aaron is now 17! We celebrated Aaron's 17th Birthday as a family yesterday evening. We had Momma's Enchiladas and He requested Marie Calander's Pie (he is def. more of a pie guy than a cake guy). He got a T-Shirt from Amber (It is pretty sweet, Volcom!) and Momma and Dad bought him Guitar Hero! (Props to Anissa for mentioning it to mom!) All in all, it was a fun day, considering it was a monday night! First October birthday out of the way.. one more coming up! (Amber is turning 20 on October 25th! She finally gets to be out of those teen years). Happy Birthday Aaron, 17 is a fun year! Enjoy it!

Art, Happy Birthday My Sweet Love

It's Birthday Time for a very special Person in My Life My SWEET Husband of 32 years feels like just days. Art is a hard working and a loving man. He loves his family and wants only the best for his children and grandchildren. He keeps busy with work, home and church duties. He and Aaron have been putting in a fence and working on yard clean up. Art makes the best carne asada he
made a bunch for break the fast this last Sunday for our ward. Art enjoys playing basketball he has played in a church team as well as an early morning games. I Want My Husband to know I love him with all my heart and soul. He Makes life worth living and makes me feel like I am the most important person alive. We now have 3 BYU Provo Graduates in our family Anissa & Noah Smith, and Tiffany Martinez.
We are so very proud of them and their accomplishments. Anissa and Noah have 3 beautiful and sweet little girls Ashlyn, Autumn, and Aubrey. Amber is a student at Byu Idaho she is getting very good grades and is very busy. Aaron is a sophomore in High school and is also very busy he is also
gets good grades. He is busy with music, piano and scouts. Tiffany is now working full time and Amber is also busy with school and dance in which she very good at. Tiffany does Polynesian dancing and she has preformed and does a great job.
